This is a manual for filling out the application form. Please note the following:

The application form is not autosaved. This implies that the application form must be done in one go. Due to this please prepare your attachments in advance.

Mandatory categories

Gender and date of birth

Your gender and date of birth are mandatory due to our aim of setting up suitable groups of applicants for their residency.

Single applicant or group

If you are travelling with family, the family members need to pay the regular fee for the whole duration of the stay. Please go to the link provided to see the costs of family members

Safehouse

Atelier Austmarka is a safehouse where we aim to strengthen diversity and include everybody regardless of age, gender and gender identity, religion, social and cultural background, disability, sexual orientation, and nationality.

For closing the deal of participating you must pay 25% of your stay as a non-refundable fee. The rest of the fee must be paid 4 weeks before arrival. For applicants from country that need to apply VISA we make individual agrements.

We do a lot of thing head on – and then we are able to get a lot don. But of course- something is hanging behind. We started making this Silence-retreat pages at the end of May 2023… if that’s a long time ago – please send us a note – then we have forgotten this special page…

We reuse a lot from our artist in residence page and therefore some information and photo is more related to Art-residency and not Silent-retreat.
